Department Head & Licensed Conveyancer
Senior Associate
Experience:
Rachael started working in the legal profession as a Legal Secretary in 1989 and worked in many different areas of law before settling into Residential Conveyancing in 1998. Rachael worked hard to qualify whilst working full time as well as having a young family to look after and one of her proudest moments was qualifying in 2006 as Licensed Conveyancer.
In her 30 years in the legal profession Rachael has gained a vast knowledge and has become an expert in residential property law, dealing with everything from freehold and leasehold sales/purchases, new build properties, shared ownership properties, right to buy properties, help to buy equity loans, transfers of equity and new leases.
Career:
Rachael is an experienced member of our residential conveyancing team based in our Market Harborough office. Rachael has worked hard over the years to build a strong rapport with all her clients and is proud that a large proportion are repeat clients or from recommendations from happy clients.
Property transactions of any kind can be extremely stressful plus they are the most expensive transaction most people will ever undertake so it’s important that the clients have confidence in their Conveyancer and are given all of the information about a property to make an informed decision which in turn makes the whole process a lot less stressful.
Rachael’s favourite part of the job is phoning a client to confirm their transaction has completed especially on those occasions when there have been delays or complex issues to resolve.
Interests/Hobbies:
Away from the office Rachael loves spending time with her family and friends especially her two grown up children and her grandchildren. Rachael is an animal lover and a keen campanologist.
