Career:
Zac graduated with honours in law from the University of Northampton in 2017. After completing his degree, he embarked on a legal career, gaining experience in the courts and working with various law firms, ranging from high street practices to Legal 500 firms. He gained experience in criminal law, residential conveyancing, employment law, and commercial litigation. In 2022, Zac won the Law Society’s Diversity Access Scheme (DAS) Scholarship, which allowed him to study at De Montfort University (DMU), where he completed the Legal Practice Course in 2024.
Experience:
As a Paralegal, Zac has gained extensive experience in all areas of litigation. Being a disabled lawyer himself, he has always been particularly interested in discrimination law. Since most discrimination issues arise in employment law, Zac has consequently acquired substantial experience in this field. He proudly states that he knows the Equality Act 2010 “like the back of his hand.” Zac can assist both claimants and defendants with his expertise. He has significant experience with various claims, including but not limited to Direct Discrimination, Indirect Discrimination, Harassment, Victimisation, Discrimination Arising from a Disability, Reasonable Adjustments, Unfair Dismissal, Constructive Dismissal, and issues involving Disabled Employees and Applicants. Zac can support you at any stage of an employment claim, from ACAS to the final Remedy hearings.
Interests/Hobbies:
Zac is a C3 classified para-cyclist and a former development rider for Cycling Ireland. While studying for his Legal Practice Course, Zac won the DMU Sport Scholarship, securing one-to-one strength training. His best result to date was at the Glasgow Championships in December 2023, where he placed third in the flying 200 on the track. Zac aspires to win the 1km pursuit at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics for Ireland
