“What a start to the year! The gloomy economic forecast, alongside the raft of changes proposed by the forthcoming Employment Rights Bill have made businesses nervous. Prudent employers are looking ahead, considering restructuring of their businesses and thinking about how they can meet the challenges that lie ahead. We look forward to providing general support, training, and legal advice to businesses to help them navigate the challenges that lie ahead and to ensure their plans for sustainable growth and success are realised.
We also are here to support employees and workers, proving updates regarding the constantly evolving and uncertain legal landscape. With the most recent consultation document exceeding 300 pages employees and employers alike will be forgiven for feeling unclear about their legal entitlements. It literally is a full-time job keeping abreast of the proposed legislative changes at the moment! Thankfully, we are here to help!
On a more positive note, the days are getting longer. Spring is around the corner and the Employment team at Lawson West have much to celebrate. We are very proud of our recent Legal 500 ranking.
