'The Business Quiz' - a big success !

Lawson-West hosted a great quiz evening at Leicester Racecourse on Thursday 17th November in support of LOROS - "The Business Quiz".
130 people in teams of 5 or 6 and local companies joined together to battle it out on general knowledge, music, sport, leisure, art and history. The fun evening included a 'Build a Sculpture' round, sponsored by The INK Group, using nothing but plastics cups, string and sellotape. The tallest sculpture was won by members of BNI Leicester Central.
As well as being part of the Leicester Business Festival [LBF], this important event was a fundraiser for LOROS and the LOROS events team was there on the night helping with score-keeping and a charity fundraising raffle.
Together with ticket donations, raffle prize ticket sales, donations on the night and sponsorship donations, we managed to raise over £2,000 for LOROS Hospice, an important local charity.

The QuizMaster on the evening was the charismatic Chris Greenwell, who is also a trustee of LOROS.
Well done to everyone who took part and well done to Mazars (The Maz-Artful Dodgers) who were the overall winners!
