With the HMRC’s headline statistics recording the fact that the number of UK residential transactions in October 2024 being 21% higher than the same period in October 2023, clearly more people are taking the opportunity to move home before the Christmas period sets in.

This is further demonstrated by month on month growth, given that the October results were also 10% higher than September 2024.
