Leicester Legal Walk
Last night, 14 of the Lawson-West team took part in the Leicester Legal Walk.
We met at Leicester Crown Court for registration and set off at 5:30.
It was a 10k walk, which is just over 6 miles - no mean feat in 29 degree heat!
The route took us through town and up the Newarke, we walked along the River Soar and then along the Grand Union Canal through to Abbey Park. We then made our way back into the city centre and onto London Road where our efforts were rewarded with a free drink at the Marquis of Wellington.
The walk was in support of The Midland Legal Support Trust who raise money for legal aid. They aim to provide help to families, elderly people, women and children and disabled people and their carers.
There have been other Legal Walks that have taken place already this year in Nottingham, Northampton and Birmingham.
All donations are gratefully received. If you would like to show your support to Lawson-West and to the Midland legal Support Trust you can make you donation via the following link: https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/lawsonwestsolicitorsltd
